I’m using the firetv with tvhproxy and channels from uk and ireland. All channels but the irish channels are displayed correctly. Even thought the irish channels are 16:9, they are been displayed as 4:3/letterbox.
I see same issue mentioned in second last comment here:
Disabling hardware transcoding doesnt fix it.
