Hi,
I try to reorder the Plex Server Libraries in my Fire TV Stick 4K but it won’t let me. I only get 2 options, to search for files and to lock the library to the side panel.
Am I missing something in the server’s settings?
in the app on your Fire TV when one of the libraries is focused on the left sidebar move to the left of the name of the library and there will be a menu there to move/reorder the libraries in the sidebar
That’s where I only get the two options I mentioned; lock the library to the side panel and search for more files.
I do get the reorder option on my Apple TV though.
You are looking at the libraries after clicking on the MORE menu which cannot be reordered in any app. If you see BACK at the top then you are in the wrong place. and you need to hit BACK to return to the main sidebar where items are pinned. You can only reorder pinned libraries in sidebar. if you see the search and home items at the top then you are in the right place
Ok, I see where the problem is. I had the server installed on a Mac Mini and I moved it to a NAS. Now the Fire Stick sees firs the old Mac Mini’s libraries and I have to go down to >More to access the NAS libraries.
How do I get the old libraries off the Fire Stick Plex client?
Unpin them from the home page.
Choose the three dots @BigWheel highlighted. You should see an option to unpin.
If Plex Media Server is no longer running on the Mac Mini, remove it from your list of Authorized Devices. That will remove it from all your clients.
Ok, I removed the old Mac server from the Authorized Devices and logged out and back in to my account to get rid of the old libraries and now I have to reorder them (why can’t this be done automatically? 
)
