Hi, I noticed tonight that when playing back a movie in plex on my Fire TV Stick 4K running Fire OS 6.2.6.8 that it isn’t automatically selecting the best audio track. I’ve encoded my DVD’s using handbrake as mkv’s and include 2 audio tracks. The first as an AAC Stereo Track, and the second as either AC3 5.1 Passthrough or DTS 5.1 Passthrough.
When i play the movie back it seems to just select the 1st audio track unless i manually switch in after starting the movie and going into settings. I’ve going into the Fire Stick Settings and tried setting the Audio settings to Best Available and Always Dolby Digital, but it’s made no difference.
I’ve also gone in the Plex Settings in the Fire TV app and tried to see if there was a setting to select the best audio track, but couldn’t find anything. I’m pretty sure I read somewhere in the past that plex is supposed to select the best audio track based on what the device supported, but i can’t seem to find anything on it now.
BTW i’m running PMS Version 1.18.5.2260 on ubuntu
