Firestick 4k max and and advance music option Store track progress bug. Update no one cares

Server Version#: 1.25.6.5577

I think i have found a small bug in android app for the advance music option Music -Manage library-Edit-Advance- select Store track Progress. Now it works on Roku, Windows app, and Web app, but NOT on the FireStick android app for some reason. Every other machine will start at the stopped point except the android app. It doesn’t save the stop point nor does it restart at the stop point set by other machines, there seems to be no interaction going on at all. Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks

Note: This very useful when listening too like a 30 hour audio book

EDIT interesting line in player log

02-23 16:46:46.212 w: [Player][Timeline] player position was negative. Position time will be reported as 0.

I have the same issue but with my samsung phone and samsung tablet plex app. Just spent 2 weeks adding my audiobook collection by meticulously converting and updating metadata so plex would handle all them correctly which worked a treat but then when I now go to listen to my audio books they start from the start every time. The closest thing to work is PlexAmp app and works a treat but it stores the resume time on the app itself which defeats the purpose of me wanting to add it to plex so I can resume them from any device.
And yes I do have “Store Track Progress” ticked. You would think this is a bug and could be rectified pretty quickly as the description for that option says “Remember and resume from your previous listening position. Useful for libraries with long-form audio content.”
Hope the plex gods see this.

Any one had any luck fixing the resume issue for music/audiobooks? I understand plex isn’t designed for audiobooks and I’m not a programmer but I wouldn’t think it would be too hard to fix the resume functionality?
