FireTV 2nd gen, Plex Player not connecting to server over LAN

Server Version#: Version 1.28.2.6151
Player Version#: 9.8.2.35221
Player Device: Amazon FireTV 2nd Gen
Player OS: Fire OS 5.2.9.1

For no reason, my FireTV 2nd gen can no longer connect to my plex server (both on my home LAN), and gives a warning triangle within the Plex player app

I have Nvidia Sheild Pro, PC’s and newer firesticks that can all connect fine. I haven’t changed any settings on the plex server and double checked firewall ports. This has only happened within the last 7 days

Any ideas?

Ttied flushing the cache of the player app
Ttied uninstalling / reinstalling the player app

UPDATE 1
Same thing on my Firestick 2nd Gen
Fire OS 5.2.9.0
Plex Player: 9.8.2.35221

UPDATE 2
Rolled back Plex Server to 1.26.x and Firestick / FireTV still not connecting to my Plex Server (PC and Nvidia all fine)

Found the solution

When the Plex Player installed the new version on my Amazon Firesticks and FireTV’s, it defaulted to Advanced > Allow Unsecure Connections = NEVER

In the player app, I went into SETTINGS then ADVANCED and changed ALLOW UNSECURE CONNECTIONS to “On Same Network” and everything worked

I never changed this setting originally. What a fecking pain in the ■■■■
