Hi,
i got my Fire TV Cube 3 (2022) today and noticed that TrueHD passthrough is not working.
Plex transcodes to Opus, as it thinks TrueHD is not supported though it is.
I also found the Problem:
The Cube Diagostics say that Device is capable of everything - beside Dolby MAT. Which is not true.
Is there a way for Plex to force it anyway?
Or do we need to wait for a fix from Amazon? - If so: maybe you have better ways to reach out to Amazon and inform them about the issue.
More about it here - also with one user who just manipulated the EDID and then it worked:
Edit: i heard some other Devices - like some Denon Receivers have the same Issue.
