FireTV stick and offline plex server

Server Version#: 1.19.5 (debian+docker)
Player Version#: 8.4.2 (plex app on firetv stick)

Hi everyone. I’ve been using plex for a few years now, always on the local network since i have a limited internet connection at home. So the server and the fireTV stick are connected on the same ethernet network (192.168.1.0/24). From any of my computer i can access the server on [plex-ip]:32400/web, but i can’t access it from app.plex.tv, which makes sense because plex.tv can’t reach my local (NATed) network.

But the fireTV stick seems to only use app.plex.tv, by using my plex account to get which servers i have access to… and that won’t work since plex.tv can’t reach the server obviously.

How is a fireTV supposed to work in offline mode ? I’ve seen people on th forums do it but they had very specific problems and no-one gave any general info on how to setup it.
