I have accepted the system to download the latest firmware for my QNAP TS0869-RP 2 days ago, and since then I have a message on the screen saying “updating system 30%” , and I can’t do anything about it!
I am afraid of shutting down the NAS.
What can I do to fix this?
Did you try the QNAP forum ? Or did you open a ticket with QNAP ? Your problem seems to be QTS related and not PMS related.

Go to QNAP center, and select shutdown
Upgrade will then be aborted
(Or did for me)

I did as dane22 suggested above. Shutdown the Nas. Pulled the plug. Rebooted it no problem. Then ran a file check before restarting the update process. All good.
