first of all, i’m italian…so escuse me for my english 
Here comes my new DS216 play, and i have some question for using this with plex media server.
first question:
Now i’m in office, so…can i install ds216play and plex media server here and then move all to my home? i have a plex account already.
Second question:
Plex media server actually is supported, right?

You can add as many Plex servers into your Plex account as you like.
It doesn’t matter where the servers are located. You can have one at home and one in a different country if you want.
ahah Thanks to all, i’m about to receive my NAS and i can’t wait to set up and install plex!!! now i’m using plex on my office pc but i need to turn the pc on to see my files on the smart tv at home
i can’t wait that TNT knock on my door 
so i know that i can add many server but the question is…the first setup of my NAS is possible in the office even if my nas would be placed into my home?

That should be no problem.
Just don’t configure anything related to ‘Remote Access’ while the device is still in your office.

i need to correct myself, the shop sends me the 218 play instead of 216 play , so i think i need to install the plex armv8 64 bit! is that right?

hi all, i have some problem,
when i try to install plex media server on my DS218play i receive a message:
“this package is not supported”…why?

ok i get the right version, but what about the update? only manual update?
in the control panel i see that there’s a new version 1.13.6.176…but isn’t made for my ds218play…
