I had Plex app on Samsung JU6400 Tizen 2.3 that works great! 4K movies were directly played.
When I upgraded my tv to Samsung series mu9000 - Tizen 3, the app crash and can’t play at direct play, direct stream in some movies .
I searched the web and find that there are too many peoples that having those issues and unfortunately **Plex do not do enough to fix that! ** Same problem at LG TVs, change from official Plex app to XPlay app, XPlay cost me an extra cash but at least I have a solution.
I hope that plex employees will get this bugs fix soon. :s
I believe plex pass users should get support for this!

On the other hand you have nice features like Plex News and Plex VR. yayyy
I’m unhappy with purchase of plex pass…I believe we deserve more with this unsupported Plex team.
@alfablac you can’t be happy with new stuff and feature where the basic things are not working as should.
I got it, after long diagnosis it seems that the srt files cause the transcoding, if I play the movies without subtitles most of them are directly play.
Any suggestions from plex developers will be helpful to understand why this happening.
