This has been raised many times, in various guises, but it’s now needing attention as duplicates are appearing from outside user libraries. E.g. I have a TV series in my library, it’s not duplicated anywhere locally, but I also have the Plex “Movies & Shows” enabled. As a result, continue watching from Home shows the same episode from both my library and from “Movies and Shows”. Were it not for the fact that the age ratings are slightly different, I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart and would find myself frequently starting an episode streaming with adverts 
This is very annoying. We shouldn’t be seeing duplicates from Plex “Movies & Shows” for items that are in our own libraries. Right now, the only way to resolve this is to hide Plex “Movies & Shows” completely, which sort of defeats the benefit of having them in the first place.
Please fix asap.
