Yes sir, understood! I’m reporting the details here so that perhaps the specific fix whether it be a patched mpv-2.dll or conf change might be upstreamed so that manually fixing after each patch isn’t needed and it’s working out of the box for all users.

Plex HTPC auto-updated today and I can confirm that the issue came back until the mpv-2.dll was replaced again.

You can disable auto-update with [debug] disableUpdater=true added to the plex.ini.

I’m having the same issue on an RTX 3090. Playback has been fine before the last couple of HTPC updates. Disabling Hardware decoding fixes the stuttering. I seem to recall this was an issue about 8 months ago with a few released of HTPC that then got patched.
