Fix for Samsung Legacy Smart TV (Plex Server version 1.25.3.5409)

Hi,
I recently updated to the latest Plex server version, and now I can no longer connect to my server from my samsung legacy smart TV. The TV app version if from 2018.
I removed and reinstalled the app onto the tv and when I wanted to use the link code that would normally appear on the TV, nothing appeared.

The work-around was to manually add the server connection to the tv, but now everything is accessible to watch which also now includes age restricted content for younger kids.
Is there a fix or must I continue to use this work-around???

Was silly of me not to troll through some of the similar topics first…
Reading up on the suggested workarounds. hopefully it works
