After upgrading my libraries, many of the posters have disappeared. If I choose ‘Fix Match’ and click on the appropriate title, nothing changes within my Plex.
Does this issue persist if you upgrade your server to the latest public version (PMS 1.28.0)?
Is the problem with identification or poster customization?
Fix Match helps Plex identify the correct movie/show to match when it cannot do so based off the folder/file name. It will not provide options to choose posters.
Once the media is correctly matched, you can edit it (pencil icon) and pick a desired poster.
Some notes regarding the new agents/scanners:
You can now add the ID from IMDB/TMDB (movies) or TVDB/TMDB (shows) to the folder/file names. This tells Plex exactly which movie or show to match.
You can add posters, fanart, etc to the folder containing the movie/show instead of uploading it to the Plex database. You will need to edit the library and enable the Use Local Assets option (Advanced tab, may be enabled by default).
