Yet again sync has let me down. Sync has been broken for years now in that you just can’t rely on it. All seems fine in terms of plex advising that sync of shows had completed, but none of the shows appear in offline mode.
Plex has the potential to be a great product but having paid for a Plex pass over a number of years, primarily for Sync capability I feel robbed. I cannot recommend that anyone pay for a Plex pass until sync is fixed.
It is incredibly frustrating and disengenous to be regularly releasing new functionality when existing core functionality just doesn’t work.
From my perspective even if it does work on some devices if it can’t be relied upon when you want to use it eg on holiday, then it is broken and needs to be fixed. The forums which are full of people having sync issues. Developers please take note.
