FLAC files are stuttering in Vizio App

Hey everyone. Some weeks ago I transcoded all my music from ALAC to FLAC.
Back when I was using ALAC, plex converted these files to AAC. Now that I’m using FLAC, it uses direct play. It works fine for my 2nd gen chromecast and my Xbox One S, but not for my Vizio TV (E70-E3). Playback is stuttering … like every seconds. Not completely stopping with a buffering icon, just stuttering. Unlistenable.

Seems like this Vizio doesn’t support FLAC files. That may be true … but at least could Plex transcode my FLAC files when using this Vizio? I don’t want to turn off direct play just for that, I’m using it for movies and tv shows.

The app should always have FLAC transcoded, so it’s weird that it isn’t transcoded for you. What does it say for Chipset in Settings → About?
