+1 support for .CUE, .BIN & gapless playback for FLAC or MP3.

I personally feel as a Plex Pass account holder, | should not have to sign up and pay more money out for another subscription to TIDAL for something as simple as gapless playback. I have enough music of my own, gapless playback should be introduced or at least thought about.

So 8 years and still no support on this?! C’mon Plex give us the audio support needed for Flac+Cue for those of use who prefer a high standard for audio.

It boggles the mind that FLAC/MP3 gapless playback is still a hard-to-find/niche feature in 2019. It’s the only thing keeping me from using Plex for music in the home theater (and a big reason I’m still using Winamp in 2019).

Give Plex gapless FLAC playback and some kind of full-screen visualizer and I can replace the HTPC for music.

I don’t know about you, but I get great gapless playback of MP3, and FLAC files in my library. I have always done separate file rips of my audio because I knew it would be the most compatible across players way back then, and moving forward. It did take Plex a few years to implement gapless playback across every Plex media player out there, but it’s been working great for at least a couple years now. I can confirm gapless playback works on Roku, Android TV, Android, iOS, PC, MacOS, and even Linux.

I think Plex has made some great strides in the personal music collection department. I even use their Plexamp player on PC. It’s simple, but does everything I need it to for music.
