but … again … gapless has nothing to do with the cue sheet
Now that Plexamp is implemented, it is even more important to push on this aspect
an excellent player must have these features
+1 for getting plex to support cue+flac.
In fact the only reason I use plex now is for music.
Are there any updates regarding the CUE file support?
Anything yet?
This should be supported.
Playback of lossless formats is a higher needs as more individuals are re-ripping their music libraries with the introduction of PlexAmp, cheaper storage on both drives and mobile devices.
Chopping the flac files into individual “units” leaves a lot to be desired from a file management viewpoint and integration of the media with other applications.
So, in short - thumbs up again for supporting cue+flac.
Wait, WHAT? plex doesn’t support APE/FLAC+CUE?!
I was shocked when saw whole album in one track, thought there is misconfiguration somehow
wait wait wait… so I need to convert all data by myself? even with plex pass?
Oh god…
+1 on FLAC+CUE support. Come on guys
come on guys, need this!
+1 for flac+cue supprt
Make this a reality. It is so MUCH needed !

same thing but a few years ago and I was about to report the issue
then I read the forum where I could see that obvious things are required for years and years …

I am also very interested in this functionality.
Furthermore, this would considerably reduce the number of files that have to be scanned every time we update the library.
I would love flac+cue support, I don’t even mind if it doesn’t sound gapless on non-Plexamp clients. Just so long as it sounds gapless on Plexamp like other formats do, that’s fine with me. Of course flac+cue sounding gapless on Plex Media Player and Plex for Mac is preferable. Thanks.
I too would like to see this feature implemented.
+1 +2 +3
Cue sheet support please!
please support it, we want cue, we need cue.
Use “CUE Splitter” software.
It’s amazing
it is now 9 (nine) years that a feature now present in any music player is required and the advice we are given is to use a splitter … is it a joke right?
My main music file library is sorted with flac + cue and due to this lack I have to create a twin with separate tracks for the exclusive use of Plex causing a (useless) doubling of the (precious) space used.
Has anyone doubted that they don’t know what we’re talking about?
This would be a signal that Plex cares for the Music!
The people that cares about quality and details. I think this is a substantial market, based on the fact that there are other competitors investing there to launch specific music-only software…
Please!
