Folder info

I have all my files organized by folder. Looks like this"

All Movies

--Childrens Movies

    |

    - Alvin and the Chipmunks

        |

        - Alvind and the Chpmunks (2009).mkv

        - Alvin and the Chipmunks Shipwrecked.mp4

        - folder.jpg

    - Nemo

    - Cars

       |

       - Cars (2006).avi

       - Cars II (2011).m4v

       - folder.jpg

Etcetera, etcetera.

What I would like is that when the folder "Alvin and the ...." is on the TV that a folder is shown which is in the folder.

In XBMC it works with "folder.jpg" but how does it work in Plex?

Have looked and cannot find it.

Filtering is not the point as the "By Folders" works fine. All I would like is to have something shown related to the subfolder. No problem to place a .JPG there myself.

 It is similar to XBMC.

This is just not possible with Plex. But the PMS-Forum sections is probably a better place for this discussion. Plex just cared about your media and the presentation. Folders are just used to give your PMS more hints about the actual content. See http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/Media_Naming_and_Organization_Guide for details.
