Folder view works well for navigating music folders but as soon as I get to the actual files Plex tries to sort the files by track.
Normally this isn’t a problem but I tried creating a more mobile-data friendly streaming library by converting all of my music to Opus for better quality to bitrate ratio and Plex isn’t reading the tags properly. This screws up the appearance of any music that doesn’t fit Plex’s naming scheme perfectly as well as sorts any track from 100-149 as disc 1 track 1-49, causing the sorting to be out of order as Plex thinks there are two track 1s.
Is this Plex’s intended behavior for folder view?
Is better support for Opus coming soon? All of my Opus files are tagged properly but Plex won’t read the tags and tries to build its own tags off of the file names.
Is there a work around to make Plex display folders more appropriately? My current workaround is to copy the library to my phone but that has its own drawbacks.
