I would like the default subtitle selector to return to the one depicted here.
I always want Full subtitles, not just when the language differs. And even if there is a Forced version, I want it to default to Full. I imagine that there are plenty of people who would want the opposite, so I’d like the wide variety of options we used to have.

This is currently a known bug in the automatic subtitle selection.
There is unfortunately nothing you can do at the moment to change that.
There is an improved version of this in the works which will also allow a more detailed selection.
No release time estimation, though.

Dang, would be nice to at least have a timeline.
Still no ETA on the fix? Seems like just rolling back to the old version would be effective
