Ok tried to create a smart collection to show foreign films (i.e no english audio available) however what happens is this just collects any film with a foreign audio including films that also have more than one language and on is english.
I have tried adding another rule of ‘audio language is not :undermined audio’ but no film has that as an option some have ‘Unknown audio’ and plex doesn’t seem to know that ‘undermined audio’ should = ‘Unknown audio’.
Basically can you fix this ■■■■ so we can make a smart collection for foreign audio.
Or you could allow us some more options for smart collections.
So like if this do this. Plus remove any of this.
So I could say if more than 1 audio track must not be english audio language
advanced filter: Audio Language – Is not – English
works perfectly fine for me…
As for filtering undetermined / unknown audio tracks – Plex basically just offers options of available audio tracks to be included/excluded with that filter. If you’ve got a movie with an undetermined audio track, you should get that option to filter – if you have a movie with an unknown audio track, you should get that option to filter… if none of those are present in your library, you cannot filter for that.
Plex should be capable of knowing that an audio track ‘Unknown audio’ should be picked up by the `undetermined audio track’ plex advanced filter. They literally mean the same thing. Otherwise why is it even in advanced filters if it has no advanced logic…
Perhaps you’ve not seen the list of languages ‘undetermined` audio track’ is literally an option someone has programmed into plex…
