Format glitch of Freebase agent for foreign titles

It seems that the Freebase agent does not proceed movies with additional titles correctly (eg: foreign movies), or any movie has the "also known as" section on Freebase website. Whenever there is an additional name, the agent will leave "|" between it and the previous name, and a "}}" after it.

For example, I have this Japanese anime movie called "5 Centimeter per Second", which is also known as "Byousoku 5 Centimeter" or "秒速5センチメートル". It will shown as following in my Plex library:

5 Centimeters Per Second|秒速5センチメートル|Byōsoku Go Senchimētoru}} is a 2007 Japanese animated feature film by Makoto Shinkai. The film was finished on 22 January 2007...

It looks like that this is how Freebase website store additional titles, and the agent does not proceed it at all. It would be nice that the agent can create a section just like how Freebase website do as "Additional titles" and put those titles in it, instead of just leaving "name1|name2|name3}}" there. At least, "}}" and "|" need to be removed.

This happens to any movie has more than 1 title in my library.

Thanks for the report, but I think there's something else going on here.  I was unable to reproduce what you're seeing, and the XML that the Freebase agent uses to populate titles looks clean as well:

My guess is that you've got some embedded metadata formatted that way, or you have a different agent ordered above Freebase in your agent config that is injecting the bad title info.  What configuration are you using for your Movies section?

The movie is stored under "G:\Films\秒速5センチメートル\" by the way.

Okay, it's likely your movies have title metadata embedded in that format.  You can either remove it from your media (using a tag editor) or uncheck Local Media Assets to ignore it.

I removed the "local media assets", unmatched the movie, cleaned the bundle, did the rematch, but the issue is still there... The summary still has "|" and "}}" between/after each name...

It is also quite unlikely that all foreign movies have embedded titles since I packaged some of them myself and I did not add any metadata in it.

Sorry, the *summary* has that?  (I thought this was the title field...)

In that case I would uncheck Wikipedia from that list.  The summaries it provides are not very good, and I wouldn't be surprised if they included stuff like you're describing.

Thanks. That solved the issue. Do you know if there is anyway to "refresh" the entire library instead of unmatch rematch each movie?
