i did uninstall and install again the app also dynamic range match enabled in apple tv also frame rate match enabled.
my TV is LG B7.
so i used to have nvidia shield TV and it was awesome. but now basically i got apple TV latest and its dropping frames all time (on anything high quality) direct play.
am using apple TV A2843 (latest gen, latest update )
Video stuttering and audio delay is a constant when using PLEX APP on appleTv devices. It is a known problem. The only solution is using Infuse instead of plex. It is a ■■■■ solution, I know, but there is no configuration for solving all problems. Something is broken, and they are not even trying to fixing it.
It seems then I will go back to nvidia shield pro.
My friend told me his Apple TV runs Plex fine but he is not a technical I assume he never ran 4K HDR stuff maybe that’s why it’s fine for him.
I ordered shield pro ( I think will regret it later due to new chip coming soon for Nintendo switch meaning maybe new shield )
Having the same issue with HEVC content, particularly live TV (as I can’t watch that through Infuse). Otherwise Infuse is the answer for now unfortunately.
