Framerate matching just changes to double current refresh rate instead of matching

Hello

I’m trying to watch stuff on Plex (just the free stuff with ads, I don’t have my own server) on a Google TV Streamer (with Android TV 14), and trying the framerate matching (with refresh rate switching enabled in the Plex settings). However, it’s not matching the framerate. When that setting is enabled, Plex just sets the refresh rate to double the current refresh rate, if possible, regardless of what framerate the video is. So If I configure my TV Streamer to 25 Hz, and then play something in Plex, Plex changes the refresh rate to 50 Hz. This happens regardless of whether the video I’m watching is 24 FPS or 25 FPS. Similarly, if I configure my TV Streamer to 30 Hz, Plex changes it to 60 Hz, and if I set my TV Streamer to 29.97 Hz, Plex changes it to 59.94 Hz, again regardless of the framerate of the video I’m watching. If I set my TV Streamer to 24 Hz, 50 Hz or 60 Hz, Plex does not change the refresh rate at all (presumably because there is no exact double).

Player Version#: 10.30.8.4222 (58d01a81)

Same with my Sony Android TV :+1:
