Free Plex Account vs. managed user - full Plex app

I’ve setup managed account for test - and works fine besides only admin being able to set / change pin a.o. So - I’m trying to find if accessing using a free account would be better…

Only:

  • on my Plex pass i’m entitled to full free device apps. How can I use these fully functional apps if accessing my server using a free Plex account??

If this is not possible, the managed account seems only option…

Create a Plex Home using your PlexPass account, and then add the free Plex user to your Plex Home. This gives them both their own user/pass, and allows for quick user switching with PIN auth between users in your home.
