[FreeNAS 11.3] Backup my Plex Data & Server Configure for a new Fresh Re-install

I recently updated my FreeNAS to version 11.3 and I want to re-install my Plex Media Server as a plugin. However, I have manually added my media information and don’t want to lose them. So I have 2 questions and am wondering if someone can help.

Question 1: How can I backup my Plex data (the one I manually entered for my media) and my Plex server configuration information from my current Plex Media Server?

Question 2: After a fresh Plex plugin install, how can I restore my backed up Plex server configuration and my Plex data?

Appreciate any help that can be provided.

You need to zip/tar-up your data folder on the old server and after you set up the new server, replace the same directory with contents of the old one.

Edit: the directory is in a slightly different place than normal if you are using the Plug-in. I heard it is in a folder called “Plex Media Server” on the plugin’s jail. Not the normal /root/usr/local/ directory.
