Move an Install to Another System FreeNAS

Hi, i have a FreeNAS box 11.2-U6 that was running plex, but the plugin broke and i needed to re-install it so i copy all that was under

/mnt/iocage/jails/plex/root/usr/local/plexdata-plexpass/Plex Media Server

to the new plugin, but i could not find that folder in the new jails. So i looked in the folder of the ples-pass jail and i saw the “Plex Media Server” that was somewhere else

/mnt/iocage/jails/plex-plexpass/root/Plex Media Server

so i copy everything there, but it did not work when i tried to start plex it was if it was brand new and the initial setup guide told me to create a library instead of showing the library i had in my other plugin.

i did not forget to add mount point for the new plugin.

i install the old plugin when 11.2 Beta-1 was out and back there even if i choose the plex-pass plugin it would create a “plex” name. now with 11.2-u6 it create “plex-plexpass” name.

i tried to refered me to the documentation to find the correct folder to paste the data, but it look like it has not been update in a while because the location in that tutorial seem to be for a warden jail and not the new iocage jail in the current FreeNAS distribution

somebody know where to paste the data so i will not have to rename hundreds of movie and artwork manually AGAIN?

don’t copy over the binaries, just the data (JAIL_ROOT/usr/local/plexdata or /usr/local/plexadata/plexmediaserver-plexpass).

For the actually install dir just install a newer version using the pkg/ports system.

Also plex did not create the folder you told me under /local/: “plexdata” or “plexdata/plexmediaserver-plexpass”

the which is weird because a year ago when i installed the plugin (version 1.13) the plexdata was at the right place

“/mnt/iocage/jails/plex/root/usr/local/plexdata-plexpass/Plex Media Server”

but now there is no folder called plexdata to be found in local

insead i found a folder in /root/ called "Plex Media Server

here is the “plex Media Server” folder that i copied from my old broken PMS. it was located here:"*/mnt/iocage/jails/plex/root/usr/local/plexdata-plexpass/Plex Media Server/

so with that information what folder goes exactly where?

PS: my primary goal is to have all my personalize thumbnail and personalize title back, but i would really like to have my episode “watched status” still intact also
