Freeze for a few minutes when i select a directory

Hi,

When I select a directory to see the titles of a music album or start a film, the interface freezes for a few minutes. I have to wait the defrosting before to play my movie.

Plex Server 9.17.2 on synology ds415+
Xbox one : latest version

Hi there, I noticed the same with server version 9.17.2. After a downgrade to 0.9.16.6 it’s seem to be running smoother.

Happens like clockwork when viewing an album (music) for me. However if I play the top-level album by hitting X directly, the music plays properly and I can browse the rest of the album without freezing. However this is extremely annoying as I can’t really add songs to my queue without either putting up with a 2 minute freeze.

Yup, all my movie and tv video works great, but when I try to play any of my music. If I go to an album, select it to play like a movie, or tv, it completely freezes, and reboots Plex. But if I just press X the music plays with no problem. It’s the actual using the of the A selection button that breaks Plex in the music section. Annoying Strange bug.

FYI this is fixed with today’s (7/19/16) update.
