Friend can see shared libraries but they appear empty

Server Version#: 1.32.0.6918-7000 running on Synology DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 1

Here’s hoping I’m posting to the best forum for this issue…

I shared 2 Plex libraries (Moves and TV Shows) to a friend from my Synology server named Lazarus.
My friend can see the the two shared libraries but both appear empty to my friend even though the Movies library has hundreds of movies and The TV Shows contains close to 100 multi-episode TV series.

Remote access is working correctly since I am able to connect via the internet from remote locations and watch movies and TV shows using my own account.

I assume I have something wrong on the server side but I don’t know what.

Do some sort of sharing permissions need to be applied to each individual movie or TV show? If so, I don’t see any means of specifying file permissions.

Can anyone spot what I’m doing wrong?

I’ve included a photo of what my friend sees on their end. Note that my account (blanked out in red), my correct server (Lazarus) and the 2 shared libraries appear. It is just that they appear empty.

A photo of what they see when they open one of the libraries would be more useful here. I’m wondering if they are viewing the library in Recommendations mode. If so, have them click on the ‘Library’ tab.
