A friend of mine shared their server with me. At some point, they took the server down, and shared another one with me. At some point, they took that server down as well. When I set up the plex app on a new device, their servers still show up in the list of servers even though those servers no longer exist. When I’m logged in through the browser, and I scroll to the bottom and click “MORE >” and then scroll down on again, I still see their servers, and I get the spinner like it’s trying to connect to those servers. I also see my server (which I’m connected to fine) and I just want to delete their servers out of there but I can’t figure out how to do it. I’ve done the thing where I go into authorized devices and remove servers, and their servers don’t appear in there, so I there’s nothing to delete. I do see my servers in there as well, and my servers aren’t the issue. What gives?
I just want to get rid of those 2 servers. They’re non existent, and they annoy me.
Go to Settings > Authorized Devices.
Find the servers in the list (select ‘Server’ from the dropdown list if necessary)
Click the red ‘X’ next to the server you want to remove.
To leave someone else’s share go to Users & Sharing click on their username then under “Shared with You” click edit and there will be a Leave Server button
Each server will have their own leave server button. There will be separate servers listed under Shared with you if they share multiple. need to click edit then Leave Server on the ones you want to leave. What you cannot do is remove only a single library if they share multiple libraries on the same server.
