Friend unable to link to my plex with invite sent

Hi recently i had a server hardware issue and was forced to rebuild my server. After re-installing Plex server on PC (windows 10) everyones accounts had been deleted.
I added them back in and all are working except my brother in law. He clicked the email i sent from plex inviting him and it accepted. he logged into his plex account on a roku through the plex app and its not showing any of my plex?

i cancelled the invite and resent and he reistalled the app and linked that again to his account, and used the new email, but still wont show?

any ideas whats going on or why hes the only one its not working for? this is also happened on the app on his iphone.

hi, yes he shows in that list and he gets the email as well so all the details are correct, ill send you his user

There does seem to be something off with the account you messaged me I’ll need to ask our back end guys to look at.

if you click on them in the friends list then open this menu and choose Manage Library Access does it show access enabled for your server libraries?

hi, ok so i click on his account and the 3 dots, and then manage library access and its says " you have already invited that user" ?

Out back end guys are not available take a look at what caused issue but I jsut removed the access from your account which did not show on their account. which hopefully clears up the issue

Can you please try again from https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access hitting the grant library access button. Then they can accept from the same page rather than email

hi bigwheel, ok so that did give me the option to share library’s which i did and its sent a new link to him, hopefully that will work. i will let you know. thankyou for the help mate, appreciate it

Message me the friends username.

the user shows as fully accepted to the library access and the friend. SO does not look like same issue as previous.

Do you show that user listed at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access and do they see your account there when they go to that URL when they are signed in?
