Friends can't see libraries as of 9/10/2025

None of my friends can see my libraries anymore. I even tried setting up a new friend myself with another email.

Anyone else having these problems all of the sudden?

I’ve logged out and restarted everything, no change.

Plex Media Server - Security Update

We recently received a report via our bug bounty program that there was a potential security issue affecting PMS versions 1.41.7.x to 1.42.0.x. My subusers on my account can’t even access the library remotely, only my main user is able to access the server remotely. My friends can also not access my library anymore either. Just started this behavior today 9/10/25

Please check the link posted by @CWallace. Your server is most likely not up-to-date and using a compromised version. Update to the current public version of PMS, that should fix things for your users.
