I have purchased a Plex Pass, and shared my library with several users as “Friends”.
If I have already bought the lifetime Plex pass, can my Friends access my Plex library through the iOS app for free? Or will they need to “activate” the app through a purchase ?
This is the message that keeps coming up on my approved “Friends” for their iOS app.
You could always share your media to your friends even before you subscribed to your Plex Pass.
They will need to activate their apps themselves because they are using their own accounts. You ‘share’ with another user. They are that ‘another user’.
