Plex won't play on LG TV anymore

The TV is a UK6180PUB

Everything has been working fine and now all of a sudden, it says that the server is unavailable. Server is running fine and can access from smartphone, from firestick. It is only on the LG TV that it is not working.
Found the article about how webOS <5.0 was affected but the TV is 5.40
tried changing the insecure connections to “Always” anyway, which didn’t do anything.
Server is set to ‘preferred’ for insecure connections, as suggested
Tried logging in/out
Tried uninstalling the app/reinstall

Any help would be appreciated.
