The main language of my library is Spanish, but since IMDB is used for the nomenclature of episodes I’m suffering what I’ve mentioned in this post in several series, before if I couldn’t find the episode in Spanish the name in English was shown until I made the translation in TheTVDB, but not now, as an example of this I attach this caputure of the series “From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated!” where I have mixed episodes with the title in Spanish, English and IMBD’s title. This decision for me has been the worst that could have been taken.

A month later, this has still not been fixed. Instead of making more effort to promptly obtain the proper title, it substitutes it with some made-up imdb bs. I’m genuinely curious: how come it has a proper episode description but not the title, regardless that they are released simultaneously?
We have an open issue for this specific case, which is that IMDB is passing back localised strings and we’re only accounting for English at the moment.
This item is showing correctly on our end at the moment, your data might just be a little out of date (as the item is very recent) and will likely correct itself on the next metadata refresh.
I’m still not sure why it picked that title at all though, I’ll have to ask again.
Seriously, you should reconsider using IMDb for anything related to TV shows. Episode titles and descriptions in particular, especially for the US shows. Their data is crap compared to TMDB or TVDb. With 10 years of editing TV show data, I can give you a 99.9% guarantee that if TMDB and TVDb don’t have it, whatever IMDb offers is going to be some useless sh#t. If you want a third source, I’d suggest you look at TVmaze. Their database may be smaller, but the quality of data is significantly higher.
And yeah, the episode in question still shows the generic title.
It’s only being used as the last fallback, it’s just an issue with how generic titles (i.e. episodes that haven’t got any title information) are being handled currently.
As I pointed out above (FYI: Plex Agents now preferring episode titles from IMDB over TMDB/TVDB - #18 by dokuro) IMDB is not only used as a failback and you can clearly see it in many many shows. Silent Witness is one example and a perfect one to show how bad it is.
You may believe it to be a last failback and if its meant to be designed like that then you have a bug.

It would make much more sense to just fall back to conventional generic titles like “Episode #” rather than someone’s odd invention.
This is ridiculous. So you somehow got the summary, which was released simultaneously with the episode title, literally in the same exact time, but offering that bs instead of the real title. Awesome logic I must say. Is some of your employees on the take from IMDb?
What’s weird is that if you refresh the metadata at the show level, it gets a proper episode name (today at least). But if you do that at the episode level, it gets this garbage title. And it happens not only with this show. For example, today’s Gangs of London episodes have the same issue. Refreshing the metadata at the show level gets proper generic British “Episode 1, 2, 3…” titles, but no images. Refreshing the metadata at the episode level gets you the image, but also this #3.x cr@p in the title.
