Episode titles not populating for certain shows

I’m having an issue with episode titles not populating for certain shows. I have the titles named correctly and I am using Plex Series as the agent for the library (Prefer local metadata is checked off). It is odd because the show description and air dates are being grabbed yet not the episode titles.

The files are named thus:

This happens inconsistently and mainly with anime.

Is there a solution for this? It is a little confusing how Plex is grabbing this metadata as it seems it still uses TVDB and The Movie Database.

It may only be getting data locally (see below) although adding the id numbers for the imdb (tt1833428) or tvdb (Series #83426 ) to the title may correct this.

Specific to the Plex TV Series Agent

  • Certification Country: This will influence which content rating system is used. Changing this setting will require refreshing the metadata for the changes to take effect.
  • Episode Ordering: How episodes are named on disk. If your naming follows The MovieDB or TheTVDB choose that here.
  • Use season titles: Use season titles when available.
  • Use original titles: Use the original titles for all items regardless of the library language.
  • Prefer artwork based on library language: Use localized posters when available. This is determined by the library language setting.
  • Use local assets: When scanning this library, use local posters and artwork if present. (Local subtitles files will be used whether this is enabled or not)
  • Prefer local metadata: When scanning this library, prefer embedded tags and local files if present.
  • Find Extras: Find trailers and extras automatically (Plex Pass required)
  • Only show trailers: Skip extras which aren’t trailers
  • Allow red band trailers: Use red band (restricted audiences) trailers when available
  • Localized subtitles: Include extras with subtitles in Library language
  • Include adult content: Allow matching adult titles and returning adult titles in fix match results

TMDB does not appear to have titles for that show Invincible Steel Man Daitarn 3: Season 1 (1978) — The Movie Database (TMDB)

Edit the show and under Advanced set the episode ordering for that show to theTVDB (aired) 無敵鋼人ダイターン3 - 出ました！破嵐万丈 - TheTVDB.com
