Gapless music playing on Xbox Series X

I was hoping to use my Xbox Series X as an all-round media player with Plex, but I noticed that music is not played gapless, where the same album plays fine my mobile phone or Plexamp on desktop.
Is this the correct behaviour for the Xbox app or is there something wrong with my setup?
If the Xbox Plex app doesn’t support gapless playing, then I really hope that it will be introduced in a future version.

Just wanted to post an update for those interested in the same thing: I found out that the Plex add-on for Kodi does exactly what I want and also plays video files that were previously problematic to play without any issue.

Lets just say that I find it a bit… ironic that I have to turn to a plugin for a third party media player for perfect playback. I really hope that this workaround is not necessary in the future anymore
