Gapless playback streaming from plex server to tv

Hi I wanted to know is there is a way to stream gapless music from my plex server on my pc to my smart tv which has the plex app on it.

For some reason even though the music plays on ios gapless it does not on the server.

I only use my smart tv to listen to my music at home and have not need for the plex amp app for my iphone

any news ?

The smart TV Plex app is unfortunately not able to play gapless.
The only app I know of which can do that is the player in the nVidia Shield. (Maybe there are other “Android TV” based devices out there which can do it too.)

Instead of Plex adding useless features all of the time they should be fixing important things like this.
