My issue is this, up until today (4/24) i have been able to effortlessly use Plex to stream my music to every device I own that I’ve installed Plex on… that being said, this morning, went to fire up some music to do some housework too, and it absolutely will not play from Plex on my Samsung tv (2019 model 65”) … so I tried my phone… same thing, then plex on two of my laptops, and my gaming pc… for some reason music is not working from the actual plex player… but since I also have Plexamp installed on everything except the TV because there isn’t a Plexamp for tvs yet… Plexamp works fine, so I know it’s not my media library or anything like that. My movies and tv shows also work just fine too, audio and all… I just prefer my tv because it’s hooked to my home theater system… I also know it is not my network connection because nothing even buffers, just plays right away with absolutely zero issues.
I couldn’t find anything in the FAQ or even anybody mentioning it elsewhere so I thought I would come here. Not a big deal, but I’m sure it will upset some. I hope a Plexamp app will come out for tvs soon… would be awesome.
