Anyone know why these garbage can icons are showing? What do they mean?
They mean the Plex did not find the media file for this item.
This happens when you
- rename a file, a folder or a whole drive
- the drive letter changed (Windows)
- cable yanked out, drive defective etc.
Take a look at the item’s Plex media info which will show you where Plex expects to find the media file.
Verify it is available at this place.
