I want to make sure I do not generate video preview thumbnails , for me there is some confusion because in each library (movies and tv shows) there is only “enable video preview thumbnails” option
so can someone confirm if this is correct
under settings/liibrary - I have video preview thumbnails set to “never” and generate chapter thumbnails set to “as a scheduled task”
then I go to manage libraries - TV shows / advanced and select “enable video preview thumbnails”
There is no separate option to enable or disable chapter thumbs per library.
Number 2 is not necessary.
"video preview thumbnails” are what you don’t want, so why would you enable them?
But the properties of each individual library have a button to delete all "video preview thumbnails” which might have been created already, to save some space in the Plex data folder. So you might wanna use that.
