Genre Pivot in Libraries questions

So I see there is a new genre pivot when viewing a Library.

Suppose it might be useful for some, but as I can already select genres from the filter, personally I am not sure how useful it will be to me.

Also, it does seem quite slow to load, much slower than when viewing the library pivot

So… to my questions,

Is there any way to disable it?

If not, will it be possible (in the future) to customise the images for genres?

Unfortunately no. The difference between this and the filter is that the filter is hard to use on some platforms and you have to change it 1 at a time, this just makes it quicker.

There are not any plans currently to allow adding your own custom image. but it may happen in the future.
