Hi .
Is there any way to get rid of “Season 1” in single season series ?
for example “Firefly”, it has only one season and “Season 1” unnecessary senseless subfolder.
but I do not want to merge “Firefly” as multi-part movie .

You don’t have to use the Season 01 folder if you don’t want to. As long as you have your files within the Firefly folder it should be fine.
Given the current state of TV Shows in Plex that is ill-advised. We keep finding out compliance works and non-compliance doesn’t work.

“Resistance is futile.”

I dont use it.
I have on HDD root/some Movie folder/list of series of Movie s01eXX.avi
but on tv I should select …->Movie->Season 1 → current episode
and selecting of “Season 1” little bit annoying
There isn’t a way to bypass the season page right now. It’s been requested and something being looked into, but nothing to share at the moment.

Maybe that’s part of the problem.
Movies go in a Movie Library
TV Shows go in a TV Show Library
The two different types of media can’t live in the same Library.
The structure for Movies is pretty easy. Drop ‘Movie Name (YEAR).xxx’ into Movie Library - push Play.
The structure for a TV Show Library is a little more involved:
A TV Show Library/
…TV Show Name/ <--------exactly as it appears at TVDB: http://thetvdb.com/
…Season 01/
…TV Show Name - S01E01 - Episode Name Optional.xxx
If you set up your TV Shows properly ( in case you haven’t and I’ve misunderstood) you may find out the whole thing works a little better. Rarely do I go to the Show Area to select episodes. I mostly play them from On Deck or Recently Added.
This would be great for Personal Series Media.

i was searching for the same, there is a way which helped me to get rid of this problem for single season tv shows. i did the following, hope it will helpful for you guys too.
For Single Season Series (do the following steps)
- Folder Structure (dont create season folder neither add s01 to the filename
TV Shows> TV ABC> abc - e01 - Edit TV Shows Category > Go to Advanced Tab, under Seasons > Hide for single-season series
- Save Changes
- Scan particular TV Shows category and refresh meta-data
- All done - you shouldn’t see Season 1 anymore under your TV Show for Single Season Series.

This is unsupported and can and will break at any time.
- Edit TV Shows Category > Go to Advanced Tab, under Seasons > Hide for single-season series
This is the crucial part.
- Scan particular TV Shows category and refresh meta-data
Not necessary.
what about a much more simple approach…
- select the applicable show
- click
Edit
and go to theAdvanced
tab - set
Seasons
to “hide”
tada… 1 show, x episodes, no seasons.
in the library, this will show as “Show name, x episodes” (instead of “Show name, x seasons”).

The option to hide a single season was not available at the time I wrote that answer. It is a feature now. As mentioned by the others above, the key is the library setting to hide the season. All the other steps is fluff and does not impact this feature.
