Hide seasons only when the series has only 1 season and it has already ended (usually mini-series)

For example, I only have the fourth season of The Blacklist on my plex, so if I enable the “hide for single season series” option, the season would also disappear and I wouldn’t know without previous knowledge which season I have in my plex. But series like 11.22.63 and Deadly Class don’t need a season indicator as they only have a single one, so they are unecessary.

With the current implementation, there is no way for both these preferences to cohexist, hence the feature suggestion. It should be rather trivial with the current system in place.

Thanks a lot!

the season will show on any of the episode preplays/summary screen to the left of the episode title.

Well, that’s true, my bad. Thanks for the tip.

But my suggestion still stands. As a matter of preference I would still prefer in multi-season series for the season folder to appear and not for single season series.

You can already do this within your TV Shows folder “Advanced Settings.”

Navigate to TV Shows > Manage Library > Edit > Advanced > Seasons

Select: “Hide for single-season series”

Hope this helps.

he knows about that. he is asking that if a series/season has more than one, but you only have the last season like only Season 5, then keep the season posters on the show page

Basically have that setting only apply to shows where there is only a Season 1. If i understand correctly.

Ah, I see. I read the title of this thread as something Plex already had available, but I see it’s something else entirely.

Yes, that’s exactly it.
