Getting "An unexpected error is impacting the navigation bar" in Firefox

I’ve started getting this error in the navigation bar on an older computer that has an older version of Firefox (78.15.0esr) on it (can’t be updated any further). Started as soon as I updated PMS to 1.28. Wasn’t sure what forum to put this post in, but since it’s showing up in Web, I thought I would just put it here. Is this a bug or result of an intentional change?

Thanks it is a known issue on some older browsers that is being looked into. Unfotunately do not have an ETA on a fix

Ok, thanks for the quick response! Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I’m seeing this on the Windows Plex Media Player.

edit: Somehow I missed the memo on PMP being defunct. The Player works fine.

I think that part of windows player is based on chromium but will add that to bug report . Thanks

FWIW, experiencing the same issue in Safari 12.1.2 on Mac OS Mojave – likewise can’t update to more recent browser.

Have the same issue with Safari 12.1.2, had to switch to FireFox 104.0 for now on my Mac server. Nav bar works again in FireFox 104.0. Currently running Mac OS 10.12.6

Also afflicted by this on Firefox 89.
I have to rely on browser history to reach the server settings since the bar won’t show up in any variant of access (http(s)://< Localhost | Local IP | Remote IP | Domain >:32400 or https://app.plex.tv/desktop).

Wish I could rollback to the previous version of PMS I had installed (v1.25) to test but the setup just yells at me that downgrading isn’t not allowed anymore
