When accessing the Plex server on my Synology DS916+ (DSM 6.2.4 latest version) UI directly there is only a general warning sign “unexpected problem with menu bar”. The info says got to forum if the problem goes on. I upgraded to the latest version (see above), but with no effect.
Please check if there is anything I can do.

What browser and platform?
Are you using bundled Plex Web or hosted (https://app.plex.tv/desktop/)?
There is a known problem with Safari on older Macs - circa 2011.
Using Chrome on those systems works.

Yes it is an older MacBook Pro (2010) running Safari Browser.
I quickly checked with Chrome and it actually works!!

I’ve an early 2011 MPB. Updating to High Sierra helped. Don’t know if that is possible for your system.

Thank you for the hint. I will check if an upgrade to High Sierra will be possible.
Anyway I am quite happy since it works using the Chrome Browser.
I know that my macbook is really old, but it is still working quite well. Sooner or later I’ll get a new one ![]()

I have 2 older Macs, a 2010 iMac and a 2012 MacBook Pro (MBP). Both are updated to the extent possible - OS High Sierra 10.13.6 and Safari 13.1.2. Plex Server 1.31.0 and Plex Web 4.84.1.
Everything works perfectly on those older Macs, which is more than I can say for the latest Plex apps that I’ve installed on my 2021 MBP with M1 Pro processor and OS Ventura.
