One thing I always get confused about is how Plex categorizes Public vs Beta PMS.
On plex.tv web site it has a toggle for “Plex Pass Download” and on PMS it has a toggle for Server Channel (Public/Beta). I never understood plex.tv Pass Download toggle. What does it mean? It would be good to synchronize/standardize and on Plex.tv say Public/Beta just as we do have it on PMS. That would make a good sense.
Plex Pass = Beta.
Look in the Announcement thread. Notice the beta release lines up with Plex Pass release at plex.tv/download.
I shouldn’t have to do that. Accidentally installed Beta from Plex.tv. That was my point. It should not be so difficult or time consuming to correct this. Everyone would be happy.
