In my home we have 2 xbox ones and 4 different profiles that could be used at any given point. I have to link plex to my account, literally, every day. What could be causing this? Running the latest version of plex on Windows 10, and the latest plex player update.
Currently only Xbox Live account can be linked to 1 Plex account. So if it is multiple Xbox Live accounts logging into the Xbox Ones that is why you have to re-link your account so much as everytime a new Live account is linked it breaks the link to the last one.
In my household to solve this I created a free Plex account for my wife and added it to my Plex Home and then created a free Xbox Live account and linked it to my wife’s new Plex Account. That way if her account is the one trying to sign into the app it doesn’t break any links as both accounts already are linked to accounts in my Home.
