Occasionally I get a notification on my Android from Plex saying “New Device”. When I tap on the notification the Plex app on my phone starts leaving me scratching my head thinking what just happened and why? I mean couldn’t you at least include the type/name of the new device and perhaps the user associated with that new device? I mean as it stands the notification is totally useless in my mind. What is its purpose? What should I do with such a notification?
